Remember the old Lionel 1950's F-M trainmasters, or the Willams and Frank Rash versions, and the early MTH ones? Well, this isn't your fathers Trainmaster.
The detailing is terrific, especially the radiator fans at the top end of the long hood. And the colors and printing is sharp and right on the money. Getting the colors correct is a lot of work.
So here's pictures of our special runs 1st. Two roads that were known for their Trainmasters...N&W and SP.
Out N&W ones are in the pre-1964 black and gold scheme, which for some reason is rarely done. They truly look good along side N&W steam engines, and the operated long end forward.
The SP ones are in the "bloody nose" scheme, which is how they ran in San Francisco Bay area commuter service will into the 1970's. I made a trip in the early 70's with a friend to Millbrae, just to see them in service.
Only 36 or each were made, and we dont have many left. Believe me, they are really nice.

Also we have a few of the MTH regular run ones left in CNJ, Virginian, Reading dark green.
I didnt take pix of these, bc i didnt want to open and re-wrap them.

Also, FWIW, we are shipping them double corrugated boxed, so the original shipping boxes dont get scribbled all over by the shipping companies.
Thanks!!
