MTH PS2 diesel, RPM's will not raise

I will try a new sound file. Track signal is decent, 6-7's throughout

This has nothing to do with this but you must have a large layout because I have a small/med. and I get 10 everywhere. Some have stated that you should always get 10's even on large layouts so I wonder why your layout gets such marginal readings? Again nothing to do with the rpm level of course.

I also noticed it's a PS2 engine, what does dcs show the battery/charging circuit as? I still hope/think loading the sound file again might help but I guess I'm just brainstorming in case the sound file doesn't work.

How are you shutting it down? I have found sometimes if you use the extended shut down that will sometimes happen the next time it starts up.

Does it have speed control?  Or does it take off?  G

Speed control works fine, smooth down to 2-3 SMPH.

Not as of yet. I will attempt it this weekend and report back.

Chris, you can load any diesel sound file as a test, you just want to see if the RPM's work normally with another file.  BTW, did you try a different remote?

Thanks for that note. I haven't tried anything yet, just life being busy.

I have tried my regular home remote and the club remote, same condition.
