Are there track joiners? how is it connected?

Ted, there are joiners? Are they listed? I can't see any. I do take your point though.
you join them with a lockon
WHAT? no connectors for flex track? I was really leaning toward Scaletrax untill now........ nicest track I've seen, Priced right, then you gotta mess it all up with bulky lock ons every three feet...NO Way... I'll be looking elsewhere for track.......
I have a big investment in Scaletrax, so I am stuck, looks good but I have had lots of problems with their switches.
If I were starting again it would be GarGraves track with Ross switches (made in the USA ! )
By the way, the ties do clip together but it is a small area of connection and not super strong like RealTrax. It will hold for re-positioning the track but you cant kick it around like Realtrax or Fastrack.
I Highly recommend Rich's Videos. They are both informative and enjoyable to watch.
I got Rich's videos due to recommendations here as well. I bought all 3 DVD's which came to 50 shipped. They are extremely well done videos. I watched them all with my 6 year old son, and we both loved them.
Thanks for the great discussion points, very interesting to me, as I am thinking about track for my next layout (while still working on my current layout).
vbkostur and erie bobs pictures are not coming up for me on my end. (Mac).
Anyone else have the same issue?
Hey Mike, how are those train orders coming?
Thanks everyone, I was asking on behalf of a friend. I personally use Fastrack. We used it on our club's modular layout, (before I became involved). I have since discovered that one of our members made joiners.
