Curious if anyone has experience with how small you can get away with putting aside realism. Specifically I am working with CTA 6000 units. I seem to recall way back I actually had them run on some stupid small EZ street track I had.
I have them in a box and no track at moment, so just doing some planning for a small circle on top of a closet area.

They will operate on Easy Street straight track but the Railking subway cars need at least an 031 curve. So get the Lionel Fast Track piece that has the Easy Street connecter at the other end. I have done this with many steam and diesel locomotives. It's kind of fun watching them run on the Easy Street track.
Thanks, I can confirm they are running fine on 0-27 3 rail K line track. I don't run them at high speed but they seem fine. I do recall running them way back on easy street now that you mention it. I sold a big tub of my easy street track when it was readily available and cheap. Wish I still had it.
Mine has been running on Lionel 027 curves matched to Gargraves straights for years. All my curves are buried in the tunnels - hence no pictures of them!

Tom, Thank you. I checked and can't find any leftovers of what i used for tile; it was either Evergreen or Plastruct sheet plastic and i'm not sure which. Sorry i can't be of more help.
