Ok I have a question about MTH's Norfolk Southern twin stack set 20-90841.  How high is it with the containers on it I get how long and wide it is but on the dementions it says 3" so does it mean 3" per container.  If anyone with the set or just a twin stack could tell me what the total height is it would be much appreciated.

NS,

I took one of my BNSF Husky Stacks out and give you the following dimensions:

Single 12 inch long container is 2.5 inches high.

Two Containers stacked in the Husky stack car the height above rail will be 5.5 inches.   At our club all tunnel portals and any bridge beam crossing above the rail line must be at least 6.25 inches above rail to provide a margin of error if some one is running a large crane car or pantagraphs on an engine.  I hope this helps
