Anyone in here have the pictures to share of MTH VO-1000? Want to see if it come with 4 short exhaust stacks or two long exhaust stacks?

Mine has a single stack. It is a very good runner. The only issue I have is the pickup rollers lift the trucks when they pass over Gargraves uncouplers. There was an earlier thread where someone changed the rollers to fix this, but never gave any info on what the pn# for the replacement rollers was.
Sounds are good and is will run all day at 3 SMPH. I am waiting on decals for a custom paint job for this model.

Barry, I am not looking to buy, already have one, just want to know abt exhaust stacks. I believe MTH changed the design from the picture at MTH catalog and actual model. How many stacks u have on Seaboard? Thanks!
Actually MTH made them different ways. First off they were made as Rail King and Premier models. I have two RK unit in Pennsy. These units are in fact correct in color color and number of stacks (4) for the respective road numbers. I have also seen two stack RK models for other roads.
PRRronbh, Thanks for the info. At MTH catalog, there are 4 stacks on North Western VO-1000, the actual model showed two. Item number is 30-2933.

Gilly,
What kind of rollers are on there now? There's a pretty recent thread on roller comparisons for MTH diesels that provides pretty thorough descriptions and part numbers. Maybe you need the small diameter double rollers.

It's got two dual rollers, but they're plated versions that are probably larger than what is shown in your picture. Must have missed that thread. An advanced search 9/1/13 through today for "MTH Rollers" turned up nothing. I had posted a question on another thread requesting a PN# that was passed-over and ignored. I'll just stick with what I have for now.

Well, if you're ever interested just type "rollers" into the search engine and scroll down to "MTH geep pickup rollers and uncoupler magnets". Everything you ever wanted to know about MTH rollers.
The number stacks depends on the railroad and how they ordered them from Baldwin. So MTH matched the stack configuration to the railroad.

Found it. Thank you.
My Seaboard RK VO1000 has 4 stacks.
Barry, are they short or tall? Thanks again.
Umm, tall, I believe.
Barry, thanks!
