Your moving/have moved into DCC. So that means you get DCC. How about a simple board to allow minimalist control of locos, where DCS isn't really an option? So we wouldn't get smph,... so I might have to play with a CV equivalent (or not). I might have to learn that loco x runs 50% faster than loco y. At least in the beginning. I'm sure you would add functions as the technology caught on. This will ADD to DCS system sales. If folks could drop a simple board into every loco that was never expected to have great speed control anyway, they'd snap them up like DCC boards in N and HO. These don't take the time and skill to install, that a DCS upgrade takes. They'd also snap up DCS systems, if they finally had a DCC equivalent in O, that used the pure sine wave that seems to run locos better than DC or transformer chopped AC. Be the leader
