The engines are Lionels legacy AC6000 and a MTH dash8 CW. The flat cars are former MTH log cars. Still looking for DODX decals. I have 5 cars so far, hoping to do between 8-10. Enjoy the pictures.

Nice job! That looks terrific. Your layout is well defended.

David,
How do the Legacy and DCS run together?
I thought that was a no no.
Eliot
My bad Eliot , the dash 8 is a dummy. That is th me only way Lionel and mth can run together lol.

David: Nice looking start on your Army train. You ought to see if you could pick up some of Weaver's troop sleeper cars to round the train out. Not available right now but maybe you can find some in dealer inventory. As I understand Weaver will have them again in about a year or so.
Your scenery is done well, too. Enjoyed your photos.
Eliot: no problem running DCS and TMCC (or Legacy) on the same layout. I have all three systems and they are all completely compatible. When I run a DCS engine I use the DCS handheld. When TMCC I use the correct handheld. With Legacy you can run both TMCC and and Legacy engines. No quarrel with any system.

Thank you Paul. I think Eliot was thinking I was running legacy unit and a proto 3 unit in a lash up (sorry Rich). Just like you said I also run DCS and legacy on my layout with no problems.
Sweet train! Lionel should make a cheap RTR army set with and 0-8-0 in camoflouge a radar car and flatcar with tanks, and medical caboose with add on cars. I loved the port of lioel set which was kind of like an army set but no camoflouge and green. I wish Lionel would make those cheap action sets with grade crossings and a semi with trailer like they used to with those add on engines like a b unit with horn and the engines would have dual motors and the port of Lionel even had a cabfigure!
Very nice indeed.
Well done, David.
VERY nice, though the German tank does stand out. What kind of and where did you get your Abrams?
Great modeling work sir!
