It is obvious that your Dad was a terrific man and father. He lived a long and wonderful life, with so many fond memories to cherish. So sorry to hear about his passing. It is always difficult to lose a parent. I lost both my Dad and my Mom a few years back.

So sorry to hear about your father's passing . There are not many things I can say to you at a time like this other than I am truly sorry . Loosing a parent is obviously a very difficult thing to go through. Alex, very sorry to hear about your dad, My dad got me my first Lionel train when I was 5. Like you I'm still playing with trains and I'm over 70. We can remember them every time we run trains.

Alex, As I am sure you well know, you have been fortunate and blessed to have had the privilege and joy of your father's company well into your adult years. My father died when I was ten, so anybody who has had his father in his life longer than that has my admiration, as well as my sincerest sympathy for your loss of him, now. You had a long time to love him. That will never stop, I am sure.
