I finally purchased my first Atlas engine. What a pleasant surprise and the detail on the engine is great other than small detail brake parts keep comming off, but thats an easy fix. Now the the questions .
It has TMCC but dose not have the cruise commander. Is it worth adding this or just easier to up grade to PS 2/3?
Since it dose not have a pig tail how can I upgrade to an led head lightthat will stay on all the time?

my first atlas,and first GE B 39..no photo yet but here is the real deal and same road #. MMA was the RR involved with Lac Megantic accident in Canada. Mine is non powered..nice detail..esp the trucks and piping. Fits in nicely with my 2 rail Pan Ams and Guilford"s.
I am going to add some issues that I have had.
1. removed the metal bridge that the wires were in due to it rubbing on the rear flywheel that was restricting movement.
2. Smothed out low hanging metal with a grinder that was hitting the track and causing a short.
Has any body had issues with Atlas engines running on fast track?
