Ran fine until the dive off my Christmas layout. Took the tender shell off and see nothing amiss. Nothing seems bent or broken, fell directly onto a soft padded carpet floor, loco and tender seperated.
No sounds, motion, lights. Running off a Z-750 Xformer. Any do it yourself help would be appreciated.
Grand-kids anxiously await your answers. LOL

did you try running it conventional or dcs? i would try a conventional reset from transformer z4000 if you have one.

If the harness was jerked out of the tender you may have a damaged pin on the engine side or the tether has an internal break. You can check that all the connectors are plugged into the circuit board. Reattach harness after inspecting pins, and power up conventionally to see if you get any response. Worst case is the derailment caused a short that damaged the circuit board. G
