That is cool! JohnA
Nicely done, It's like walking back into the 40s-& 50s. My Granddad add one of those adding machines for his bike shop, I used to play on it when I was younger.
That’s awesome! What a cool space, nice job!
Alan,
Really nice office. There are several preserved SP Depots in the SF Bay Area. Some of them have model railroads in them.
My club, the San Leandro Historical Railway Society, preserved the San Leandro depot that was built in 1898 (San Leandro borders Oakland). We have a small museum and a SP themed HO layout inside the depot. There is a G and O gauge garden railroad behind the depot. We plan to be open for the NMRA national conventional July 4 to 11 in Santa Clara, pandemic permitting.
Santa Clara has a well preserved SP depot that is still in use by Caltrain. The Santa Clara model railroad club maintains the depot and the nearby SP tower. The Santa Clara club has N and HO scale layouts inside the depot.
Here is a link to the G&O Story on this forum. It has photos of the San Leandro Depot being moved to its current site after the the club bought it from the SP for $1.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
I have been off the forum for a couple of years... long story.

Alan nice to have you back. Great little office you setup there - very well done. The only thing that is missing is a vintage calendar from the 40's (unless I missed it).
