since I currently run my track on 6x2.5 folding tables, I thought I would cut my 1/2 inch thick pine plywood so that it covers the table top with extra to allow for 1x2 around all sides underneath to help hold it all still onto the tables. I might glue it down with liquid nails for projects. add foam on top for scenery and then set my track down. I want A 6x14 layout so I though of laying one table sideways on top, two on each side longways and make their plywood wide enough so they meet in the middle and then a table sideways. I would run mth realtrax, two mainlines, 54 inch radius curves, put 1 72inch set of switches on one side for going from each mainline and back and one set on the other side and two spurs off the inner mainline on the lower right going toward the middle and two off the upper left. I'd like to find a way to run two 54 inch radius switches(one on each side to run past the curves) off the bottom end to meet at the bottom of the curves to form a mini yard to park trains.
