After talking about it for quite some time, I finally brought a car up from the basement for my wife to try her hand at weathering. She found a photo of a similar car on line, and armed with a chalk set that we picked up at the National Train Show last summer, she went to work.

I like the results so far. Pretty good for a first attempt. But maybe the best part is she is getting involved directly with the railroad and putting her artistic talent to work.

Hey Elliot, Can she lay track also? Seriously though for a first attempt I think its pretty darn good.
