Very nice and impressive!!  Hope you will not mind a couple of questions from someone who knows nothing about this product.

1. I didn't notice anything protruding from the front of the automobile like the truck exhibited.  Is this a function of the size of the truck, where you had to locate the motor, or what?

2. Would the system allow for alternate routes and timed stopping so a vehicle could pull into a service station, sit for a fill-up, and then pull back on the road when an "opening" in traffic occurs?

3. Can a vehicle be placed in reverse to simulate a parallel parking move?

1) The tiller on the cr is there, just shorter and harder to see.  The one on truck is rather large because I wanted to be conservative in making it.  It's the first wire-guided O-gauge truck I've made and for that matter the first I have eer seen, and I was not sure how long it needed to be to work well (generally the longer the better).  I may try to shorten them on the next ones I build. 

2) Yes, AutomotionFX offers kits for turnouts and gas stations.  I have one and plan to use it for a drive thru burger joint, I think. 

3) No, at least not these. As far as I know they go forward only.

The outer loop that you see the big rig and the Caddy running is about 80 feet.  The smaller second loop inside the main route, around the small lake, is about bit more than 17 feet around.

Wow Lee that is some nice work.  I really like the lake, the Burma Shave signs along the side of the road, and the amount of travel.  Very nice indeed!

Lee,  how do you control cars from eventually rear-ending one another?    I know you can adjust speed of each car via a screw set on the bottom, but I imagine that over the course of an hour on a closed loop, one will eventually end up on the bumper of another.  Is there some type of control unit that might prevent this from happening?

Slick!  Can that system go up  and down grades?

Maybe paint the top of the tiller the same color as the payment?

Where would one find a "how to" for building this system?

@tom.tee  - while i don't own any of these vehicles (yet), I have asked the same question of the automotionfx people and the answer back was that a converted Menards panel van could easily handle 6% grades.

A good reference of the design and practical tips is a book from Faller, Pro Tips Car System.

Of course, when Lee writes his next book on Wire Guided cars, it'll be a "must have" as well.

 Future opportunities? Maybe some RR crossings, or a rail barge/float ferrying freight cars down a river?
