Not being an N scaler, I asked the owner of this excellent set of oNe-Trak modules what was the difference between N scale Free-moN and oNe-Trak. His answer was "about 10 inches".
The oNe-Trak layouts have a layout height of I believe 40", with Free-moN being 52". If you are interested in the specs for these two competing standards, here they are:

Here are photos of the oNe-Trak modules I shot at the show. This was some absolutely wonderful modeling, and focused on the trackage around the Cascade Tunnel.
