I know exactly who you mean......but the name escapes me and I haven't seen the advertisements for years........when I get home later, I'll look at ads from CTT and OGR from the mid 90s.......I'm sure I'll find the add there.

dgauss thanks but they make frame work.  This was milled lumber that acted as the road bed and the track was attached to it.

Could it be AF Pikemaster?

It was called KitWorks made by John Kitterman. When we did the TMCC demos he gave each of us one of the layouts for easy setup. Still have mine with some extra track and switch sections.

One correction to my description.  I thought Kittworks used hardwood maple.  After some google'ing it seems they used plywood.  A minor detail but I wanted to correct.
