I'm trying to recall the name of the manufacture who built simple sectional layouts. I think the layouts were intended for people new to the hobby. One of their advertising points was that the track was attached to maple hardwood. It seems they used O-gauge track (not O-27). The hardwood was milled to look like road bed. It seems that in their ads, they showed a figure 8 layout and IIRC had switches. It was a modular system that could be added to although I think the variations of add-ons was minimal. Anyway, does anybody remember the company's name? I don't think they are in business anymore.
Thanks,
Steve
