As tempting as that profit looks, mine will stay in my possession mint in the box in a fireproof safe until I build a layout worthy of its running.
Makes me wish I'd gotten several. Since I only bought one, I think I'll hang onto it.
crazy, given I can get a 6 pack for 4.99
A rare and noteworthy car, at a good price now. More power to those who like it and bought one.
Frankly, I'd never heard of Natty Boh and so I didn't buy one when they were available . . .
Certainly a testimony to the popularity of Paul Strictland's hard work on this project.
Speaking of Paul Strictland, I have not seen any post from him. Hope that he is ok.

Paul is doing OK He had some health issues but doing better Saw him at York and thanked him for selling me 4 Natty Boh reefers which are all gone Cha Ching
I saw one for sale at April York on the first day with a fairly hefty price tag on it. It was gone Friday, so I assume it sold (but don't know at what price). I've been tracking the sales of these on eBay and the average selling price there is around $308.
I still take mine to the occasional Greenberg show and run them.

I still have mine and it has been running on my layout since the day I received it in the mail from Paul. My purchase of the Natty Boh reefer was the best rolling stock purchase I ever made.
Guys, there's another one available. I already have two. Who has been wishing and waiting for a NATTY BOH REEFER for sale?
This last one went for $405. I don't know for sure, but that might be a record. Congratulations to both the seller and the buyer. These cars are getting scarcer and scarcer. The value "staying power" is a testament to Paul Strickland.
Nursing my last case of Natty Boh. Glad York is almost here. Time for a run to Shrewsbury!

I've been tracking secondary market sales, and while my data is at home, I know that one sold on the 'bay for more than $500 on at least one occasion.

At those prices, perhaps its time for Lionel to do a set of Vision Line Natty Bo reefers.

Probably it would be a good idea to also lock up in that safe all engines and other items you paid over $345 for.
