I need to remove all of the imprinted silhouettes from a Lionel Polar Express marionette car. What is the safest and best way to do this without yellowing or further clouding the white translucent window plastic? I've heard some people use brake fluid but don't know if this would cause the white windows to yellow over time. Also since this is a surface lighted from inside the car, I don't want an etched or ghost effect outline or shadow of the original imprinted silhouette showing even though the black ink/paint may have been removed.Any and all suggestions appreciated.
First hand tried and true methods would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.
