Need help with K-Line NYC 20th Century operating Diner

Guys,

this post talks about a picture of the wiring diagram.  The picture is not showing and looking at the legacy site isn't producing the results.  Can someone repost the pic?

The only person who posted pictures in this old thread is Bruce, i.e., @brwebster, and you're correct in that the pictures are not visible, probably because they were linked to some location online that doesn't exist anymore.

Bruce would be the person specifically to ask for a repost.

BTW -- By me posting this response he'll automatically be flagged because I've inserted this link, @brwebster, into this text, up above.  When you do this it sends an alert to the forumite you cite.  He'll be flagged and will hopefully respond, although it may take a while because he hasn't been on the forum since the last day of March, according to his profile.

Thanks Mike.  I ended up finding the box and it had the wiring sheet in it still.  Sadness and despair as I was setting this up on the layout, I think I inadvertently touched a sound wire to a transformer wire.  All I get now is a buzz instead of the twist. 

Oh well.

I don't see where this diner has sound.  The description is for lights and smoke.

Well, I don't know what sound it makes, but this website shows the underside with sound hookup wires. It could be maybe that you could hook up a radio and there's a speaker inside? I'm not sure, I think this topic may have been up once before and someone talked about the sound or such. Did Skip have one of these?

Well, it does say sound on the box, but not on Legacy K-Line.

I've never had one, so I don't know.

Yeah I saw that too John, that is why I figured maybe Skip could comment as I think he has one. Not sure if it is working or not. I do believe this has come up before though.

I don't know if any of that will help, but at least it is a start. Granted those are the Starlite, but very similar to this one.
