2 new projects to add to my roster I need some kit #'s on if their available.
1st - I want to turn my dummy MTH item #20-2584-3 SD24 proto 2 into either a powered proto 2 unit or just add a light kit if available. I figure I could look for another cheap sd24 with a damaged shell and just swap out body's and the steps on the trucks. but if that's not the case, please let me know and i'll persue the light kit only if available from MTH or whomever.
2nd - this is going to be a custom jobby. I WANT MAJOR OVERKILL SMOKE from my only steam engine which is a 2-8-0 from a RK set by MTH item# 30-4106-1. For this there will be no kit but what I would like to know is an item # for the biggest fan driven smoke unit or best output smoke unit mth makes. I'm going to try to fit 2 smoke units in this thing. big unit for the main funnel and the unit it came with for custom blow down, injector steam. this project may or may not work but im gonna give it a whirl.
on a side not - my optimus prime in O gauge project is getting near to completion as well as my custom interior for my Atlas Westinghouse caboose! so excited!!
