We’re working on some details for our shadowboxes and buildins, and we have been asked about fire escapes. Here’s a picture at our first prototype. A single landing element has also been developed. We’re working towards having them carded for resale. What I have yet to figure out is a viable scale-looking ladder and/or stairs element. Please let me know of your thoughts and sources!

I am looking to be an alternate source for various styles of fire escape railings and flooring. I have seen the Tichy kit, but have not yet reached out to them about the ladders only. The laserboard does not twist and stay in place like etched brass will for stairs.
Alternate building rear elevation with four fire escapes. I would like some feedback on the fire escape kit. Email me with a picture of the building you would like to put it on and your mailing address. The first three who respond wil get a sample sheet.

Steps, railing and ladders O I go Plastruct.
For steps I was using STA-8 but switched over to STA-6 since they are narrower. Ladders are KL-8 and angled railing I think is HRS-8
Found some photos of a Suncoast Coal Tower I modified. Everything is Plastruct. The starways are once again STA-8 not the narrower STA-6.

Do you know if Tichy sells the stair elements separately? We are going to be developing a number of different fire escapes to go along with our building offerings.

Email me your postal address and I'll send a carded fire escape for you to look at. I also like the option of putting the ladder against the building. We'll develop that option as well as diamond cut flooring.
