I did not get the P70's but they look like a very nice car. I have a little trouble finding my 2 main roads , CN/GTW in the GGD line. But I have found some on the secondary market. I did get the 4-4-2 & 10-6 Sleepers in CN. I have some of the new GGD 85' CN Coaches on order and I am hoping that GGD gets enough orders to go forward and produce them.

i saw that GGD added the Amtrak to the list of possible roads so maybe that will help them to get enough cars for the small run they have a window for.

Hope others that are considering these Coaches deciide soon because I think the order window maybe closing.

I have ordered the P70 modernized coach P70FAR.

I think these may be plastic

But I do have four of the GGD PRR P85 aluminum coaches produced for the Broadway Limited set..

This run of cars is a definite with a total of 300 being produced. The builder wants to do 60 of a paint scheme which obviously means 5 paint schemes.

Roads that either meet or are close to the 60 criteria are UP, SP, C&O, NYC, and either GN or NP (can't recall which) at this point.

An obvious question to me would be "if there are 90 UP reservations, why wouldn't you do 90 UP cars and cut back on something else"? That is not for me to determine, but I share that sentiment.

If your road name doesn't get done in this run keep the faith as there will be future runs with the proviso of 60 per road name so don't hesitate to reserve if you want to see your road name in future run(s).

Norm Thanks for your reply. I think you are right about the P70 time frame. I went back to see what Scott had said about the P70 and his March 3 communication did say they were going in production at that time. So guessing a lot it might mean APR TRAVELING FROM CHINA AND CA and maybe mid may arrival at the buyers homes.
