Thank you for the above information. I have twice this week emailed MTH via their "contact us" as to what has happened to the #20-5673-1 Swiss Electric Locomotive that was suppose to be available earlier this year. The latest date listed is November but being it is now December and having received no reply do you know if they ever plan have it produced? I usually receive a reply in a timely manner but not this time.

Today I was contacted my Kristin of MTH regarding the Swiss electric locomotive I mentioned above. She told me that they are is being shipped very soon and should be in their warehouse by the end of the month and the dealers should receive them starting in early January. I was surprised that she answered to on a Sunday and even on Sunday evening. Wow that's customer service.

The #20-5673-1 locomotive is not Swiss, it's the German "Crocodile".

in 1987 the Swiss Federal railways did lease 8 units from the DB and apported some modification to it. The most notable being a single pantograph.

A limited serie of the MTH Swiss "German" Crocodile is being exclusively offer by Hermann (may even be only the 2 rails version).

A pre-production pic that I took earlier this year.
