New Charger Locomotive Undergoing Testing

$6 million locomotive. Has an interesting video. At 0:40-0:43 there seemed to be an exposed rotating gear. Here is a picture:

It is more visible in the video in the link. One would think that would be good in the ice and snow which gets into every nook and cranny of a locomotive.

All and all a cool story with good shots of a train moving fast.
