If anyone is interested, I found some new, in-the-box, Lionel and K-line O-42 remote switches on sale on the 'Bay. Item #'s (Lionel) 161450252727, and (K-Line) 261608577134. These are offered to bid on, buy-it-now, or make an offer. I bought two pairs of the Lionel switches for myself. These are good buys.

Makes me regret that I've never done, and won't do, the bay! I've been looking for those K-Line switches since K-line went under.
