Boy, does Menard's do a great job with their buildings. And at some pretty nice pricing, too. I don't have a place on my layout for it, but think that I will make a place. Looks like about the right era for the rest of my layout - 1950.

A slice of Minnesota. (Watkins originated and still is based in Winona, and again the first Red Owl was in Rochester).
I knew about this one (though again not what it looked like). I waited patiently and quietly. Menards email arrived at 2:58 p.m. and I read it at 3:18 p.m. Order placed at 3:23 p.m.
Why on earth is Menards not posting that on the forum?! That is an excellent building. As an attorney, I feel compelled to object to the name of the law firm, though.
I am in the process of redoing the scenery and town on my layout right now. This is perfect timing for this item. I have it on order, thank you Menards for really listening to us old train guys!
I'm planning stage for my layout but only have about 7' x 12' and I'm running out of room for train track as these buildings keep coming. Not bad thing really but I do need at least one loop with a couple of sidings lol.
Hey Guys,
Here's a link to my official post. My computer wasn't working this afternoon. Sorry about that!

Basil, overruled! LOL As always, another winner, each one seems to set the bar for the next one! One question I have is what happens with the 3 outlet adaptors I have that put out the wrong voltage? I know there is a new one out that is correct. Do I send in the old ones for a replacement with the new ones? If it was mentioned, I missed it!
^^That cracked me up!
Only flaw I can pick up is the color of the mail box. Should be olive drab.
I think it's a great looking building and fits right in with the 50's & 60's.

It's not on a Army base

Ok Nick, I think your getting a little soft here! Remember its not a BREWERY!

I remember old mail boxes that were OD with gold letters and later with white letters. When did they change?

I know Mike but the people who work in the buildings drink beer. Besides I don't want folks to think that I'm just here to push for a BREWERY.
Wow this is a great looking building and will fit perfect in a spot I had planed for a few buildings. Expect my payment soon Menards.
I don't think that atty. partnership name is unique to this O scale building. Since this is regionally specific, I'd have to change lettering. I'll probably change the firm's name, also, to Rippoff and Ravidge, LLC?
Love the "Dewey, Cheatum & Howe gag. From the Three Stooges; many moons ago. In my paralegal training, I heard about a bailiff who had a "DC&H" necktie with Larry, Curly and Moe from the episode on it. Word was he wore it nearly every day in court. I searched local shops until I found one...great stuff

I do to barely so I'm guessing in early 60's
