Justin: Watch it on Rt. 15. The cops have plenty of hiding spots and THEY WILL get you. Drove 15 anywhere from 2-8 times per week for a year. I can do it with my eyes closed and a heavy foot since I know where the hiding spots are! Don't ask how I found out!

Once more, the folks who attend York are favored by MTH to see the catalog first. I got their newsletter stating that the dealers would have it for customer's to see by today. However, my nearest dealer is a 50 mile round trip for me so I won't be going. I'm not in that big of a hurry. I used to get their catalogs on the mailing list but did not get one last year. Maybe they took me off the list. Whatever?
Ray
I feel your pain Ray, When I was in Palmdale CA it was 60 miles one way to Keck's. So hear I am detailed to DC. Guess what the local guy charges, 7.00 bucks for a copy and there is none to look at, you got to buy them. I can not find a decent train store in this area. If anyone knows of a good O gauge store in the D.C Northern Virginia area please let me know. Please.

So, Ricky, of those NS Heritage units, what versions do they have listed? Hi-rail, 2 rail with scale pilots and a non-powered unit? Just curious.

Yes sir!!!

I'm missing all the rich offerings MTH used to have. To me the catalog is getting thinner. A few too many art mistakes also have me wondering.

According to the http://www.altoonaworks.info/heritage.html the NS(Old) will be an ES44AC not an SD70ACe. This was probably decided when the PC unit was added to the original 18.
Larry
Never thought i see the day when a lionel catalog was better than a mth catalog.good to hear williams stepping it up with sounds and better detail-hope they include a cab interior w/figures.

It's shown as an SD70ace in Railking AND Premier.
Only Milwaukee road freight car is a 50' Boxcar and a steel caboose-both Premier.
Ricky
I saw the new 50' PS-1 boxcars…very interesting they'd choose this car to do considering AtlasO has done this car to death.
I will probably get one SOU car because its different. I picked up the sample car at York and it looked to match the Atlas version pretty well in detail.
Man are you WRONG about that.
I have a list of The P-S-1 50' box cars in an issue of RailModel Journal and there are railroads and graphic schemes that Atlas O still has yet to produce, and it looks like with the delays in production for Atlas O, they will never make those railroads. That leaves only MTH to put those roads on their version. It will also cost less than the Atlas O version.
Also The PS-1 50' Box Cars had several door variations.

When they offer the PS-1 50' Box Cars in Illiois Central, ICG, Grand Trunk Western Original scheme, GTW blue repaint, Soo Line 1961, CNW 1980's Safety Yellow, Burlinton Northern, plus various CN schemes, then I will finally get some PS-1 50' Box Cars.

Boomer,
Are the AT&SF F7's passenger? and do they come in 3/2 with scale wheels and fixed pilots?
Joe
CN only had one Train Master, dressed in their green and gold livery; and, over the years, that locomotive wore two different road numbers; originally, it started out as 3000 and later on... it became 2900.
Is this what is being offered, in the Premier line?

RS-3...ooh even better. I'll definitely get one. Depending on which color scheme, I might be interested in the Indiana GP9 as well. Looking forward to seeing the rolling stock list.
Finding one or two items makes it a good catalog, in my book.
Thanks again for the information.
Question answered, thanks!

Lafondue,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'd like to download it but somehow it is telling me that the page isn't available despite being able to scroll through and look at the content.
I'm hoping that my message to MTH via the MTH Facebook pages produces a remedy for this problem.
Ed
SD40-2 in FEC!!! my prayers have been answered!!! This was the only modern engine rostered by the FEC that had not been done by either of the major companies. If MTH does the paint scheme correctly, it will be easy as the prototypes were purchased from UP and all that was done was to remove the UP logos and road numbers and then apply FEC markings.
of course, I won't have it in hand until 2015 or'16.(if MTH keeps to their usual schedule) I've got the SD70M-2, and the GP40-2/3, all I needed was the SD40-2. Now I can have a prototypical consist!
What Premier freight cars are shown in the new catalog?
Very poor job of "spilling the beans" this time. WHATS IN THE CATALOG!
My LHS didn't have his copy yet!

What Premier freight cars are shown in the new catalog?
I'd also like to ask this as well.

The Milwaukee Road F7's interest me. I can't wait to compare them to the new ones listed in Lionel's latest catalog.

Surprised that the $429.95 question hasnt been asked yet... did they hold the line on prices?
For those who seen the catalog. What's the paint scheme on the NYC F-7. Lightning stripes or Cigar band?
