Good catch Mike. Thanks for the heads up. BigRail
Nice catalog like the 4-6-2 crusader.
Very disappointing, can you say been there done that. NYC Mohawks again when I'm trying to sell mine(thanks MTH), and they don't even bother to do one with roller bearings. And before Hot Water comments, they only did the Mohawk with roller bearings in scale wheels from the last run in 2009. Plus more challengers, didn't they just do one not to long ago?
Guess they will sell but with a seen that before, nothing new for me. the Wallet is safe until the next catalog.
Thanks for the link. Just cruised through it. Nothing that strikes my fancy except the Blue/White LIRR boxcar in the Premier section. Not sure if I'll even buy that.
Was (and still am) hoping for a blue and white Long Island MP15.
All I can say otherwise is........"Got Money?"
I was very excited to see the UP U50Cs offered again for the first time in over a decade. The Citirail leasing co. diesels are a definite. And at least there's a couple of new intermodal offerings....the triple ISO container flats, the flat w/ a 20 footer and ISO. Not an overwhelming catalog but I'm seeing the glass half full!
Thanks, Mike!
Now I have something to da at work today!!!
Love the Alaska tank containers on flat car. Finally some Alaska shipping prototypes!!!
Not much for the southeastern railroads.

The New York Central had only two Mohawks with roller bearing rods. How many models of #3144 and #3148 do you think MTH can sell?
I love it. My MBTA Genset switcher is finally being done! Thanks Mike!
Definitely going to pickup a SP Caboose from the Railking Line. Pondering if I should also order the Railking UP 1996 and George Bush 4141...
B&O 0-4-0 last year, and 44 Tonner this year? Wow!
I'll be in the dog house. LOL!
For me, I did a few items interesting. The Railking First Responders Action Car, the GN R-2, maybe BL-2, SF or Citirail ES44AC, maybe the U50C, some premiere First Responders Cars, maybe the depressed flatcar with Crane. Defentiely the NS Intermodal with 2 20' Containers - 20-95224. Also maybe the TTX Flat with 3 Maersk Containers. Also I do like the LED Christmas Lights on some the buildings. Anyway, I probably will not buy all of it. But actually this catalog in my opinion is the best in a few years.
New Haven 0-6-0 is a future possibility.
Do the 44 tonners come with smoke? The picture shows smoke but there is no mention of it in the description.
I understand that MTH has a business to run and they should absolutely do what's best for their success, but as a customer it is really hard not to wonder what is going on. This catalog brings nothing that moves the needle for me personally. I purchase O, S, and HO from MTH and unfortunately they have disappointed me in all 3 scales.
I wish I could say otherwise.
Lot of repeats but I will do the UP and Mersk 60ft flat cars with tank containers. Also the Santa Fe auto carrier. I have enough orange ponies in the barn that I can pass on the motive power. Thanks for posting the link Mike. Nick T
Thank you for the link
Not much for me either. Mel's diner sign is a "must have" for those that have the Mel's diner.
the different 44T phase bodies is a unique twist
Looks like MTH invested in a 2 rail scaletrax. I wonder how many 2 railers will go for that.
MTH is rehashing the autorack but with the same old paint schemes already done.... man there are a LOT more schemes out there to be done!
Same old roadnames for the SD45 even though Southern Pacific owned the largest fleet of these, MTH can't seem to grasp that.
The rest of the catalog - Like any other catalog but stuff is now Proto 3.0
It's a Mohawk for me! Missed out last time. I'm thinking the L3a.
Gary, I thought you might like the B&A 44 Tonner.
I like the coal load accessory that was brought back and one of the 44 tonners.
Paul
I like the B&O 44 tonner. I may get another Amtrak Genesis (wave paint scheme) to use with my older PS2.0 version of it. I already have a lot of the items in the catalog in ps2.0, so this is good for my wallet. It is nice they are offering them again for others in ps.3.0.
yeaks,,,I try to stay with tinplate,,but several things caught my eye,,,,will have to start selling papers on the corner !
I run mostly modern, and while not a lot I need in the way of motive power, there certainly a lot of rolling stock I'm interested in. Overall this is the best catalog (for my needs/wants) in a long time.

I will be ordering the phase v genesis, the 6 car amfleet set, along with some freight cars.
Interesting catalog...
My thoughts: Great news here: I can pic up a Aux. Tender that I missed out on... WTW? 250?
These are cool- can add them to my Shay consist!
Ha- Ha... these are funny...
I like these...
Nice F3's but another war bonnet? !!
These will sell.
And these too... very cool!
I always liked the GN R-2...
These are nice ... me likey!
Now here shows some initiative! Give them your room dimensions and they have a layout already designed... with a complete track package!
AH NUTS! Where where was this track when I needed it! Well I am not tearing out the Atlas, Gargraves, and Ross!
WOW! Now this is cool... Being a slobbering Milwaukee freak! Nice!
No. No. No... no more UP U50C's or UP Sperry track inspection cars... I have them already! I guess if you don't have one they are very cool.
Not a bad catalog. Something for everyone... I wonder what the Cab forwards sound like?

Mike, Thanks for the link!! I was cruising their website and couldn't find it on the iPhone.
Count me in for one maybe two Amtrak Genesis in phase V paint and a set of matching Amfleets.
Finally!!!! A Pere Marquette caboose.... Probably will get the MR center cab as well.. Love the die-cast shell. IMO, tons of goodies...Not sure how anyone could complain about it....

Just FYI... They announced 2 rail Scaletrax a couple years ago. They also said they won't be doing turnouts. So my guess is not many 2 railers (including me) are interested.
Welp, I think I have to sell the house...
I hope to get:
2 Amtrak Wave P42 and the Veterans, CitiRail ES44, Amtrak Phase 3 Mail Car, ALL the husky stacks, CSX TTX flat car to go with the safety train, A bunch of the amtrak corrugated autoracks, for an auto train, a gondola, 4 pack of amtrak passenger cars, and maybe the MTBA Genset. Probably the best MTH catalogue I have ever seen.
Also, did anyone else notice the missing number board in the veterans SD60E?

Some great stuff in this catalog. Nice to see the Electroliner and box cabs again.
These will find a way on my roster...

MTH listens! I'm not going to say it was all me, but when Mike Wolfe was at my LHS I stopped in. They were basically trying to sell the Wi-Fi stuff, not my cup of tea so I was chatting up the LHS owner. I noticed his K-Line SP bay window caboose and remember that MTH has never made one in the brown and yellow. So I went up to Mr. Wolfe and pointed that out to him. He took paper out of his pocket and wrote that down. Now there is one in the latest catalog!! I'll be stopping by the LHS to order one for sure this week.
I am both sad and relieved, for the first time ever I see nothing in the catalog that I must have. when I heard there will be new items I got somewhat excited however they are not really new just repaints of previously made items. So I need not spend any of the wife's and I's traveling money.
The 60' flat cars with 20' containers are what I have to get.
Thankfully there are trailers on flat cars from last year that I still have to get.
For the Auto Carriers, I was hoping for Kansas City Southern.
I like the C&O yellow caboose.
Andrew
The RailKing ILLINOIS CENTRAL 4-bay offset side hopper is a car that I would like to get, because the Weaver Models ILLINOIS CENTRAL open-top hoppers have become very rare.

Hi Joe,
I'm pretty sure they do not have smoke due to space limitations. I have one on pre-order from my LHS and will get next week after I return from York. My LHS is at York so I'll found out them when I can take delivery My point is that if no one confirms with you by then, hit me up via email in my profile and I'll be glad to tell you.

I forgot---I'm all over the Mountain. Loved my Imperial version and have been drooling over a scale version since I've decided to go the full scale route with my new layout.

Woot!!! I'll be taking two NYO&W 44 tonners!
