THE FORWARD TRUCK ON THE tender is derailing or trying to derail on on all my LIONEL FAST TRACK TURNOUTS ! is has shorted twice setting off the circuit breaker on the power supply of my Z1000 .
I only run it slow because because I am stiil worried about shorting the PS-3 board . THE TENDER FRONT Truck is derailing(LIFTING) on the frogs .
I tried reconnecting tender & engine bar . PLEASE HELP
PLEASE NOTE my other three PS-3 steamers do not do this !

Does this engine have decorative chains on the tender trucks? If so, sometimes they get tangled up or caught on the truck and don't allow it to swivel as needed. I have the PS2 version of the Imperial Y6B 2-8-8-2 and often have to free the trucks from the chains or it will derail in curves.
Disconnect it and move it slowly, by hand, over your turnouts. You may be able to see what is catching causing it to bump up like that over the turnouts.
Does the tender have center rollers on the trucks?
Look where the axle goes into the truck sideframe and check for the bearings being out of place.

I would check one of the wheel set the first axle on front of the tender, check if the axle is bend or wheel out of gauge if so you can take one axle with wheel set off of a railking freight car and swap them on the tender. The side frames of the tender truck and freight car truck are screwed on the boliser so it should be easy to switch wheel axle.

are these o36 switches i bought a new imperial 611 j and they had a spare drawbar in the one for o42 and over one for less than o42 curves
My theory could be that the Wheel might be out of gauge or that the Fast track has wider frogs and guide rails than a normal switch. I have this issue with my Proto 3.0 Ten Wheelers, but not my Proto 2.0 Locos.

Tim , I am trying to order a wheel gauge now .
To ESCAPE ROCKS , No roller pick ups on tender .
TO SJC , The chains were not a problem .
I plan to take it to MTH SERVICE Center after York & TRAINFEST !
I am Positive things will get fixed . Worst case Situation , I will run it on a boring oval of track .
