During his Demos With Dave video earlier this afternoon, Dave at Lionel announced a secret product that he and Dave will be discussing this Wednesday sometime. What could this mysterious product be? I'd like to hear from you guys here on the OGR Forum. Do you have any guesses as to what the new product could be? Let me know. I have a few ideas of my own.
Possibility #1: an all new locomotive tooling (very likely):
-I don't think it will be a Vision Line model. That probably won't be announced until the fall York Show.
-It could be a Brass Hybrid steam loco model. Here are some ideas:
-Early SP Cab Forward: 2-8-8-2, 2-6-6-2, and earlier 4-8-8-2 versions (Dave is an SP guy)
-Milwuakee Road F7 Hudson
-C&O Yellowbelly Hudson
-Other loco ideas:
-Siemens Charger (multiple versions)
-SD70ACe-T4
-ET44AC/ET44C4 (with correct truck details)
-GP60/GP60M/GP60B
-A new B40-8W tooling
-New SD90MAC-H (6000HP units; both Ph. 1 and Ph. 2 cab versions) toolings
-Possibility #2: New Operating Accessories:
-Scale Intermodal Crane with sound and Legacy control
-Command-Controlled classic Postwar accessories (164 Log Loader, Coal Loader, Bascule Bridge, etc.) with sounds
-Fastrack Turntable with TMCC and sounds from external shed
-Fastrack Roundhouse to go with the TT; also including background sounds and crew dialogue
-Fastrack Transfer Table with TMCC and sounds
-O84 and O96 FT Switches
-Possibility #3: A Physical Cab 3 Remote and Charger?:
I doubt this will happen at this time, but it could in the future.
I guess we'll have to wait a couple of days to see what Ryan and Dave have been working on. I bet it will be awesome, though.
