Talk about a disappointment to the O gauge community!
Seriously Guys? Please Take a moment and either search the forum or look at Lionel's website - This engine was announced weeks ago - it is a new tooling scale ET44. Its on Lionel's website already

In the livestream, Lionel (Dave and Ryan) stated that they were going to release another new loco in the month of May. This is an addition to the ET44.
As I would love to see a new O-scale loco, the HO offerings need a boost. They can’t continue to keep repainting that relatively poor quality Berkshire. If they want to make a go of the HO line, the line needs refreshed.

LIONEL already produced an enormous amount of TMCC compatible 3 rail locomotives.

I am fully aware of the 3rd Rail offerings. I have been following 3rd Rail for some time. I have nothing against the company, and as I said, their quality is great. I was just stating that there is room in the market for multiple manufacturers of a particular model loco. I would like to see the Charger as that loco.
