That is exactly what I was trying to do. This structure will be back a couple of feet on the layout. When I construct, I always try to stand where the viewer will be. Since not too many people have unlimited time and money, placing detail where you can see it is a real effective option.

That furnace just continues to become more massive every time I see it. Definitely more interesting with the added details.
