Justrains brings some tinplate, but 95% of their stuff is non-tinplate O-gauge.  I did get lucky and was able to buy the 1 #6 engine they brought with them in the Spring, and it was at very good price.

If I were looking for new tinplate from the past few catalogs I would go to Sidetrack first, then over to Justrains.  I can't think if anyone else there that has new Lionel Corporation tinplate.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.  I wouldn't mind finding other dealers.  Not that both these dealers are not excellent.

The 254E is the Orange and Blue electric that my forum friend Ryan brought to test on my temp test layout - and it ran beautifully on my O27 track and thru my 27" and 42" L-Line switches.

it's going to be a fun time picking!!!!!  I haven't looked forward to shopping at York ever as much as I am excited about this trip!

Chris was right about getting hooked on this stuff.  It's going to take all of my discipline to keep it at 2 trains, but I MUST.  I might think about a trolley though - they are really nice after viewing some on the tin-plate forum.

thanks - walt
