I just found out that Tinplate Legends in Action vol. 6 is expected to be released sometime this month. I’ve already placed my order. Here’s the link https://www.tmbv.com/Tinplate-...oductinfo/TINPLATE6/

That’s GREAT news! (I’ve been suffering withdrawals for some time now )
Didn't realize that Fritz had his trains video taped.
Can't say I need to buy, as I have seen them in person!
Been quite a few years since I visited Fritz. He had his yard mowed into a political statement if I recall.

It would be nice if these were offered with a streaming option. ( I didn't see any streaming on their website.) None of my computers even have a disc tray anymore. I guess I could watch them on the TV, but maybe it is time for the train hobby to catch up with the technology.
Will, you can watch them on Amazon prime if you have that service.

Yes, I believe you can still see that on Google Earth.
I last visited him in the summer of 2019.

I bet he’s pretty unhappy with what’s going on in his part of the country.

You don't know Fritz, he is very particular about his trains. They are all originals and in super condition and all are over the top. Knowing his trains, the video should be spectacular.
You can see videos of a number of his trains on the daveclarklumber site on Youtube. Watching the trains run is very impressive and a marvel to see their condition.

Dave is a friend of mine. When I went up north in March he wanted to take to Fritz’s, but I needed to get back to see my brother.

Of course those things have been replaced.

IIRC, TM has a way to view their videos without actually having a physical disk. I've seen it listed on their website, but didn't pay too much attention since it's not my preferred method.
Personally, I like having a disk for a couple of reasons. Unless I lose or destroy the disk, it's mine forever - no worry about a website going away. DVDs are so widespread that I doubt there will be a lack of hardware for playing them in my lifetime. And I like sitting down in front of the TV and watching the trains - bigger picture and better video than on my computer.
I also enjoy watching video of layouts that I've seen in person - it's interesting to see the different perspectives and details that I missed.
Mallard4468: I agree! Very glad I have my Samsung Ultra HD DVD player as part of my home theater system. I also have a Toshiba VHS to DVD recorder with a back-up player! Plus a vacuum tube Samsung sound bar!
