I agree about the "top heavy" appearance. It sure is a nice example of excellent wood-working craftsmanship, but I'm sure that I would tip it over while working on a heavy steam locomotive model (maybe that's just me).

Hi Guy's,  I thought about that too when I was building it, but it turns out to be perfectly stable,  I'd really have to knock into it hard to get it to tip.  I guess you'd have to see it to see how stable it is. Works really well with some of my steamers too.  I also thought about putting a magnet on one side and a bin on the other. I like building, so maybe I'll try another cradle at some point.
