Neat truck, I guess we have to wait till next week to see the building.

Man not sure what's going on over at Menards but you guys are getting more of my business for everything just because of what your doing with O gauge.

Thanks for the sneak peek, Mark.  Menards is killing it with the innovative and affordable O gauge products. 

looks awesome.  I hope Menards gets into more scale sized vehicles.  The van was cool but too small (works good for forced perspective though) and their F150 trucks were the size of my tractor trailers.

I grew up in the Midwest, never far from a Menards. I can truly say after living in the deep south for 14 years, I miss going to Menards. I spend enough time at the home improvement center, but it would definitely be more if they carried O Gauge stuff.

Looks like it's going to be another winner for Menard's.

Helloooo Menards. Would you please build a store in NJ? We have a lot of people and lots of old houses that need fixin' up. Home Depot and Lowes are cleaning up but they don't sell train stuff. You guys would scare the dickens out of them.

Speaking of buildings, when does the Hobby Shop building arrive?  There were pictures released in January of it.

Looking forward to seeing the reveal of the building in the photo.  Looks great.

Wow, a building and a truck.  The truck is too new for my layout, but how difficult can it be to replace a truck cab?

Please start work on your Richmond Heights, MO store so I dont have to go to The Depot anymore. I need to be able to sneak a little train stuff in - easy to do within a Menards receipt... You've been teasing me with "coming soon" signs and a big dirt lot for WAY too long. My closest Menards is 40 mins away!

We own a property management company and my son is at Menards every other day. I'll have to put it on his list to check the new O gauge stuff.  By us it's sold out quick!!!

Can't use a modern truck, and scale (size) is everything, but "feed store" sounds

interesting....if in the Louisville, Ky. area and want to try a "different", barbecue and

other restaurant, try "Mark's Feed Store". (uh, after the blizzard melts)

I had the same thoughts about it being a modern truck, but the building looks intriguing. Also, I lived in Louisville for about a year, Mark's Feed Store was amazing! Even after living in Kansas City for 10+ years, I'd still say Mark's is right there in my top 1 or 2 for bbq.

The building looks like it could be either era. Maybe option it with a new truck or a 1953 truck.

If it is a feed supply building I will have to get it. During the depression my dad drove truck for a feed & seed shop. He received $1.00 per day plus room and board, said he was very fortunate to have that job.

Appears that Menards made a good move becoming a forum sponsor...whole bunch of fellas across the country losing their minds & losing some sleep!

Lets get your Warren Ohio store finished up for Pete's sake! I drive right past it on my way to the Blue & the Orange store! It's just torture!

Menards only has train related things in the fall when they get ready for Christmas.

You may find a few buildings and accessories left over but now they are switching over to gardening and summer toys.

Unless they open a special section for trains their online store is the only place you can get trains.

Personally, I would love to see train stuff year round. We'll see what the future holds!

Any chance that you will have a presence at York? I'm in Northern VA and had never even heard of Menard's until reading about your chain here on OGR. If not at York, does Menard's ever run any coupons (e.g. discounts or free shipping) for train items from Menards.com?

We are currently trying to expand our presence as far in all directions as possible. The O Gauge Forum is helping us reach more people than ever before! Physical store may not be a possibility at this time but we are quite proud of our online selection.

As far as coupons and promotions go, we try to promote special offers or new releases at least once a week. It is quite common for us to sell multiple of one item at a reduced price. Purchasing this way also cuts down on shipping costs. Free shipping is a little more sporadic but we do it on occasion. Thanks for asking!

Mark - Your new building looks great!  The lighted truck is awesome!  It is very exciting to have a new retailer in the hobby that is bringing out new and exclusive items.  I used a lot of Menard's items when I built my present home and my layout was all from Menards.
