The NJ Hi-Railers were invited to display the Bobby Baccala garage layout at SopranosCon on 11/23 and 24. It gave us a great incentive to go over the entire layout and get it running in tip top form.
How did we acquire the layout?
After the end of the show's run HBO was looking to junk the layout. They contacted
Lionel to see if they wanted it. As it turns out one of our members (Mat Horning) was working for Lionel at the time
He found out about it and told them we would take it. The next day it was on truck to the NJ Hi-Railers. When the layout arrived it was almost completely stripped and Lionel donated the necessary items to get it back up and running. The rest is history.
