Yes, this engine is quite impressive!   I just wish I had more time to spend chasing it.

It was also cool to see the Heritage unit.  It was the first one I've seen in person.

I went up to the yard Friday afternoon and stayed til about midnight. What originally turned into getting pictures eventually turned into helping prepare the train for the weekend's excursions. I definitely felt comfortable around most of the guys, being a rookie in the ways of steam. I was given tips on how to maintain a fire, watched and took notice of how to shoot the rods and what not. I'm very much looking forward to learning steam stuff over the next few years!

I came back and took a ride on the 9am trip with my dad and a family friend on Saturday, shot the remainder of the trips, and the deadhead move near downtown Pittsburgh earlier today. All I can say is it was the best 3 days I've experienced so far.

My videos are up and pictures are currently being added to my Flickr page.

Great photos and videos guys!  I kind of lived 765's trip across PA vicariously late yesterday afternoon after I was able to talk my sister into going to the station in Lewistown to shoot video for me.  Thank God for the Fort Wayne GPS tracking tool as I was able to send her a stream of text message updates as to where the train was.  (My phone bill will probably be a whopper!)

Marty, great shoot at West Park!  Looks like NS has decided to upgrade to 3 rail track now, huh?
