The Northern Michigan Railroad Club is announcing it's latest club car for pre-order.  Sebewaing Beer was produced in the often overlooked thumb area of Michigan.  The striking pheasant logo of Sebewaing Beer will make a great addition to any consist.

Sebewaing Brewing Company first set down roots in the 1870s as Huron County Brewing Company. Following Prohibition in 1927, it reopened as a malt extract production facility under the name Sebewaing Beverage Co. Six years later, new ownership stepped in, eventually running a bizarre ad campaign in the ‘40s in which they purchased young lions from a circus and paraded them around the brewery. This opened the door for a marketing focus on outdoor themes, including the introduction of a particular favorite—the pheasant. The brewery remained successful until changing its name to Michigan Brewing Co. in 1962. Unfortunately, the name change and modifications in the production process upset local Sebewaing customers. Five years later, the original name was restored, but the brewery's doors officially closed in 1966.

Is anyone from the NMRRC going to set up at York?  If so, where?

In the Orange hall in April, a member of your club (maybe you?) that worked with shipping the cars saw my badge and recognized my name from last year's car order.  Called me over and we had a nice conversation that was cut short as the hall was closing.  He had a booth along the center aisle.  If someone will be back at York, I'd like to look for them.

That was our member Greg.  He will be at York again set up in the Orange Hall.  I'll try to touch base with him for exact location so you can complete your conversation.

Dang! How'd I forget this? Really sharp looking cars ... would have loved one

So I missed this ordered.  I swear I only ordered last March for a box car.  Are you doing two cars a year now or did you change the time you create / order them?

Will there be any other cars for 2023?

We are working on a beer reefer, presently in the trademark clearance process, for 2023.  Watch our website, www.nmrrc.org, for upcoming details.  And reviewing graphics for another, probably to be a 2024 car.

Please post, and if in York hall, post a sign, like, "U.P. Cars Info", so us potential customers  don't miss out. (these not U.P. but attractive)
