Did anyone else miss the shuttle bus going to the Choo Choo Barn/Isaac's last Wednesday?  It seems the Choo Choo Barn was surprised as I was the bus did not go there.  To me, that stop is as important as the visit to the museum.  I called the TCA museum a few minutes ago and was told the parking lot was reconfigured and the bus couldn't make it in there.  I then called the  Choo Barn and was told the parking lot has not changed in over 20 years!  Hope this can be corrected by April.  What's your thoughts?

Eddie,

On the Wednesday before York they won't let you park in the lot at the TCA Museum unless you are handicapped because of the large number of people attending the museum.

Parking is at the PA Railroad Museum and a shuttle bus makes the run between there, the Strasburg RR and the Museum.

There is a "back lot" that is very easy to get in and out of. I parked my 42-foot motor home there in April when we interviewed the Lionel guys. The lot is PLENTY big enough for a large bus to get in, park and then exit without problems.

We were just as surprised as everybody else that the shuttle bus didn't stop here.  I had a call from one of the helpers that we would be a stop as usual and then nothing.  When I went up to the museum on Wednesaday, I asked the parking lot attendant why the Choo Choo Barn wasn't on the route this time and he said that the bus couldn't navigate the turn into the parking lot.  "WHAT?"  Looks like they need a new driver.  Or they could have just pulled in front of the Choo Choo Barn gift shop where our logo train sits to load and unload passengers.  Maybe in April, they'll try this method.
