I know this is an old topic, but yesterday I fired up my one month old Flyer Uboat and had no sound. It would run with Legacy, but no bell, horn, or crew talk. I tried reprogramming several times, but no success. So..out of frustration, I googled the problem and got several hits. Long story short, I learned that pushing the horn button once and the the number one key the sound was restored. Amazing! I want to thank all the contributors to the forum for their contributions as it saved me from having to send the locomotive to Lionel for repair. I have become a faithful reader of the forum. Keep up the good work.
