To any O gauge model railroaders living in the Atlanta area, you are cordially invited to attend an Open House sponsored by the North Atlanta O Gauge Railroad Club this Saturday, April 5 from 11AM till 4PM at the Hobbytown USA located at 840 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw, Georgia. We have our Hi-rail club layout housed in a depot inside Hobbytown and members will be there operating trains between the hours noted above. Additionally, two clinics will be held; one beginning at noon on the different types of O gauge track and a second at 2PM on basic layout table construction.
The club will also have our traveling kids layout set up in the train department at Hobbytown with four throttles/trains available for operation by all junior engineers.
If you are in the area, please drop by and visit with some fellow 3 rail fans. Hobbytown is easily accessible from Interstate 75 on the northwest side of Atlanta.
