You can also use the SEARCH function here on the forum to search for OGR Forum members in your area. It's in the blue tool bar at the top of the screen.
Hello John. The LCCA is of no use to me as I I am not a member thank you though
Rich thank you very much
Rich - been on the Forum over 2 years and did not know that search function existed. Pretty sneaky having different search functions for different topics.

Forgive me for being polish but how does the search function locate people near you?
Hit the link on Rich's post above, in the upper left corner there is a drop-down box where you can search for members (It says 'Everything'). On the next screen you can enter your zip code and the proximity (in miles) that you want to search.
Click "Search"
Hover over "Everything" link in upper left hand corner
Choose "Members"
Choose "Search By Geographical Data (Postal Code and Country)"
I check the membership location map every now and then, and I find it interesting it lists members that have not visited the forum in 10+ years, one member near me last visit was in 2010. There is another member near me that is a long time forum member but has only posted a few for sale posts and has never done a like. Lots of data there.
Thanks to all of you great folks

Melvin,
Unfortunately the LCCA has already been of use to you, even though you're not a member. Thanks to LCCA member John (@rattler21) you now know that there are several like-minded enthusiasts near you -- at least six members in Winston-Salem, one in Kernersville and five in Greensboro.
Isn't that what you asked for?
Mike

Above is what I asked for. Knowing that they live in the area and having no way to contract is useless. The search on the forumn will yeild me actlual information.
It is not my intent to argue on the wonderful forumn but I felt I sould respond to you.
Thank you, Melvin
