Hello everyone. Just thought I would post some updated photo's of the O Gauge W&LE. I have made progress on finishing the layout and have now just about 25% left. These are photos of the finished scenes along with "Wishman Run" the newest scene on the layout. Enjoy!

Again, the picture above is so realistic.

Very neat scene, I like it a lot.  This is now easily one of my favorite layouts from the forum.  Thank you for sharing.... wow.

For AGHRMatt, that snow scene was actually shot outside on a module. Very simple. Just a card table with two inches of snow smoothed over a long peace of weathered Atlas track placed in front of a convincing background. I wish it was a bigger module, I would have liked to have gotten a few freight cars on there as well.
Wowak, the trees are all super trees and Super Sage Trees by Scenic Express. The leaf Flock is also a new product by Scenic Express as well. It's texture is perfect, and I quickly become a huge fan. The brush is known as "briar patch," also by Scenic Express. It comes in multiple colors, but I airbrush it to give a more natural blend of greens. Believe it or not, I use Spanish moss, colored, from Michaels as my forest floor. Gives the right texture and color for small weeds and ferns one would find. When all blended together, it's very convincing.

Jason,

I really enjoyed reading about your layout in the most recent OGR issue. It looks great, and I can't believe there are that many neat photographs with such a relatively small space...and it looks like you're not even done yet which makes it even better. Keep up the good work.

Thanks,

Wheeling45,

Absolutely fantistic updates, thanks much for sharing them!  I have a couple questions for ya, where did you get the 84 lumber ident decals in the size to fit your O gauge layout, also which company did you purchase the man driving your John Deer Tractor from, I have the International Tractor and John Deer Manure Spreader in the same size, on my layout and need to acquire both the man and the 84 decal.

Thanks

For Pine Creek Railroad,
Believe it or not, the 84 Lumber decal that fits the Atlas Lumber yard is simply a bumper sticker I got at a local 84 lumber. I just cut it out with an exacto knife and stuck it on the building and then weathered it. The guy on the tractor is from Bachmann actually and he is from a Seated Pedestrian set.

Wheeling45,

Great, my brother is an 84 Corp Manager/Buyer I will hit him up for the old 84 Bumper Sticker and cut it out like you did, and can you be a little more exacting on how & where your purchased the Bachmann individual set of sitting people, can't seem to come up with them any where.  If you order them off the net, I could sure use the address.

Thanks

PCRR/Dave

Wheeling45,
Had to run over to the Bill & Walts to pick up a Tin Plate 2600 Type Pipe Car Dave the owner found for one of my Tin Plate trains, he had one old time tractor driver left from the 1950's people, sits in the International tractor seat perfectly, bad news, it's the very last one he had and the compay is long out of business.  I definitely still want

to know where you got the other sitting tractor driver, decided it is so neat I am going to pick up the John Deer Tractor & driver also.
