Does anyone offer O scale couplers with inoperable knuckles? I have had train separations with my Kadee 805's and would like to use couplers with fixed knuckles on my passenger equipment. I have several steamers without flywheels and any slight change in voltage causes the slack to run in and the car uncouples. I did not find anything on the Kadee site. Is the old Monarch coupler manufacturer still in business? Thanks.

Unsolicited suggestions: Couldn't you get some used Atlas or similar knuckle couplers and just 'weld' the knuckles in the closed position ? Alternately, Scale City 48-341 dummy couplers, 6 for $7 -- IF you can get them.
Disclaimer: I have done neither of the above. Years ago I bought a glass jar full of dummy couplers at a show, and they have sufficed ever since.
