This is why I think we need to have 3 rail scale people at the 2 rail shows.
I do not see what the problem is; I do not care what kind of show it is. There is ALWAYS a good chance of finding something useful there. I recently attended an "all-scale" (O3r, AF S , HO and N) and almost before I could walk in, I found an assembled IHC O two-stall engine house (the brick one about the size of a real barn 
) for $20.00 and an IHC O coaling tower for $10.00, both went home with me for $25.00. Please note: There was absolutely NO O2R stuff there but I had a great time and will go again.
