I just registered myself. Fast and easy. Why register so far in advance? Why Not? It' done.
Thanks for the"Heads Up" Chris.

Wow, isn't this way earlier than usual?
Yes, the online process is great. Been using it for the last 3-4 Yorks.
Just sent mine in, very easy. First York for me since 2003.

On-line registration is really easy--the way to go!
I registered at the April York for the October Meet (NOT a table holder)...and I think that may have been the first time the EDTCA offered that option.
Did anybody get there Fall York pass yet?
If I ordered mine now I'd be sure to lose it before October

The badges are due for shipping this month (July 2013)--that's what I was told in April.
Really kind of stupid to send the badges out this early (if, in fact, that is being done) since it significantly increases the chances that the things will be misplaced. A month or so before the event is ample time to get them to the recipients.
But if you do get it early, put it (in its badge holder) in the glove compartment of the car you'll be using to go to York so you won't be forgetting it at the last minute.
I'm only 83, I don't forget anything. Forget my badge, I would forget my name before I would forget my York badge. Allan, Now I don't remember what you posted here.

Allan,
Your suggestion is such a risky scheme.
We've all been taught not to leave our valuable possessions in a vehicle unattended. What if your vehicle is stolen or burns up in a fire?
Besides, who would forget or misplace something as valuable as a York Badge?
Bought York Badge - Check!
Booked hotel - Check!
Extra York Funds - Getting there!
This will be my first York ever and I'm really looking forward to it! So EXCITED!!!
Thanks Chris!

FYI, I've learned that the York badges are being delayed due to the special "badge paper" being late from the supplier.
Just received the pre-registration form from the E.D. It mentions nothing about cell phone use in the halls but does say no photographs allowed. Does anyone know if the cell phone use ban has been lifted? It no big deal either way but if my wife comes back from shopping and wants to let me know where she is waiting it would be convenient to pick up in the back of the hall..
It was lifted just before the April 2013 meet.
