I found a Lionel train in my attic that needs repairing. I wanted to try to deal directly with the factory, but can only seem to find dealerships around my area. Does anyone know of a way to send my train directly to the factory to be fixed? Thanks!

Check with your local hobby shop. Many are Authorized Lionel Repair Stations. What do you have? Type of engine, cab #? Any idea on the age?

There is no reason at all to send an old engine to Lionel. I don't even know if they fix old trains. I see you are in NJ. There are plenty of repair guys around you. Len Carparelli in Rutherford is the best I know of near you. There are many guys right here on this forum who repair old trains.
