I just wanted to let everyone know that the Youngstown Model Railroad Association will be holding their annual open house this weekend 11/12 and 11/13. If you can't make it this weekend there is another open house 12/3 and 12/4. All days we are open from 12-6PM. There are 2 huge layouts, a 2-rail O scale upstairs and HO Scale downstairs. Most of our vistors spend hours watching the trains, looking for the details on our scavenger hunts and watching the camera train on our new large flat screen TV! Even if you have been in the past, we have done some great new additions, remodeling, and even some new lighting on the O scale layout. So bring the kids or grandkids and let's have fun this weekend watching trains! Adults are a $4 donation and children under 11 are FREE! Refreshments are available! To celebrate our 60 years we also have t-shirts, coffee mugs and some HO freight cars available. If you can't make it and interested in the above let me know.
We are also always looking for new members willing to help, so come down and check us out and if your interested just ask any member, we will be glad to have you!
